    • When you create your character in game, you will be asked to choose a profession when you spawn. Staff can change a profession if someone is rerolling or an accidental choice was made.

    • As you level up, return to a PG Role Selector box (one is always located in the Bank at your faction's Trade Center) to learn your profession engrams up to your current level.

  • When in doubt, refer to the Professions Spreadsheet for which engrams are usable by which profession.

Everyone

APOTHECARY

Apothecaries are the doctors of the world. Their knowledge of the varying properties of herbs allows them to create potions for your health, or deadly poisons for your foes. Their knowledge of the racial anatomy allows them to tend to wounds of all types so that they mend swiftly, or to quickly take down an opponent. Those who call themselves Apothecaries are as invaluable as they can be dangerous. And they know it.

Blacksmith

BLACKSMITH

The heat of the forges cannot be rushed. In much the same way, the experience it takes to work raw ore into the finest of armors comes only with time--and one has only so much time in their life. The sharpest blades are honed, not made. Repeated drawing of metal over whetstone strips layer after layer of roughness until the point remaining can slice through a single strand of hair. As such, Blacksmiths are those who have dedicated themselves to the bending of metal into protective pieces, who have themselves been honed through trial and error. Their skill in creating both beautiful and deadly works have kept safe emperors and peasants, and felled forests and empires, all the same.

  • May craft and use all engrams listed for Blacksmith, and all items therein.

  • May craft and sell single-use items.

    • i.e. Flak Chestpiece, Sword, Metal Nails, Hatchet, Metal Strips, etc.

  • May craft armors above hide.

  • May use all armor blueprints.

  • May craft all weapons above spear.

  • May use all weapon blueprints.

HOMESTEADER

The life of a Homesteader is a hard one. Tending the fields and animals is hard work, but honest: supplying the meat, milk, and produce, necessary to keep a civilization going is a respected calling in life. From gruel to feast, they can turn any meal into veritable culinary art. Homesteaders alone understand the nuances of the soil and weather and how to glean the best yield from the worst conditions, and it is their rations that will keep you not only alive, but in peak physical condition.

  • May craft and use all engrams listed for Homesteader, and all items therein.

  • May craft and sell single-use items.

Hunters have mastered the ability to gentle the beasts of the land and encourage them to procreate. Every Homesteader with cows and chickens, every solider who rides a mount into battle, every traveler leading a beast of burden as they trek, every child who has a loving pet to curl up with at night. Hunters are owed, are revered, and they take pride in their ability to make better the lives of all with their animals.
